Kims Restaurant sources fresh, locally grown produce and we taylor our menu to ensure we are using only the highest quality ingredients. We cook as much as possible ourselves, baking muffins each morning, making bircher muesli each day, making sauces, marinades and chutneys, crumbing our own fish, slicing our own sashimi, cooking our own pastry etc; and we have a personal relationship with all suppliers:
Our seafood supplier buys seafood from the fish markets and delivers to us daily.
Our pasta is handmade in Avoca.
Our honey comes from 60 hives just a 10 minute drive from Kims.
We speak to our fruiterer before each order to find out what is in season, good quality and preferably locally grown.
Our eggs are local, free range and delivered every couple of days from a farm 20 minutes away.
Our jam is homemade in Empire Bay.
Our meat is purchased from a local butcher who delivers only the highest standard of meat.
We care about every ingredient.
